Position Summary The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing customer interactions, processing orders end-to-end, and identifying opportunities to drive sales while ensuring accurate financial and order data.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Order Management
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding products, orders, shipping, and returns
Process orders, refunds, and exchanges within Shopify
Ensure accurate order entry, pricing, and tax calculations
Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of satisfaction
Inside Sales
Assist customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and abandoned carts to drive conversions
Support promotions and help increase overall online sales performance
Accounting & Systems Coordination
Create and manage invoices, sales receipts, and customer records in QuickBooks
Reconcile orders between Shopify and QuickBooks to ensure accuracy
Operations & Team Support
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Assist with inventory updates and product listings in Shopify
Support reporting on sales, customer service metrics, and order trends
Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in customer service or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem-solve and handle challenging customer interactions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive).
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the energy, power solutions, or home services industry.
Knowledge of customer service best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
QuickBooks experience
Shopify experienceFamiliarity with CRM
Experience in a B2B or product-based environment
Work Environment
Office-based
