Graphic Design Resident – Communications
Graphic Design Resident reports to the Creative Director. This is a support-raised, full-time position from August 4, 2026 – July 31, 2027.
Position Summary The Graphic Design Resident at The Village Church will support our Communications team by producing deliverables that communicate creatively and clearly, using both printed and digital mediums. This role offers hands‑on experience in Communications, collaboration with various church ministries, and opportunities to develop creative and design skills.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Communications team on visuals that support the ethos/culture of the church
Design/display provided content in an organized, thoughtful, and creative manner
Produce weekly communication materials as well as large graphical packages for local events and ministries
Collaborate with ministry partners to design various graphics for promotion
Communicate with clear reasons about specific design choices
Create graphics and visual content in Canva
Update / Maintain brand assets in Canva
Active involvement in the life of TVC, including staff meetings and events
Qualifications and Requirements
Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith and Theological Distinctives and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
Ability to work within the context of a team
Proficient experience in coordination and administration
Proficient experience in developing and managing volunteersProficient experience in database management
Proficient experience in recruiting practices
Flexible and adaptable
