Join our team as an Electrical Designer, where you'll contribute to commercial, educational, institutional, and light industrial projects. Your work will help bring complex designs to life—from power distribution layouts to lighting control systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Design power distribution, emergency power, lighting, lighting controls, and special systems for code review and construction
Prepare design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and calculation software
Prepare and check drawings and participate in project design meetings
Collaborate with team members to ensure designs meet project specifications, goals, and applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Assist with on‑site observations during construction and coordinate design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers under the direction of the project engineer
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in the electrical field. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology preferred
Strong technical problem‑solving skills and sound engineering judgment
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and design/calculation software.
2+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and calculation tools
Valid Driver’s License in the state of residence
