Cloud Architect — Position Summary
Adroit Affine is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade cloud environments for Fortune 100 clients across AWS, Azure and GCP. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, shaping cloud strategies, guiding multi‑cloud migration programmes and ensuring every architecture is secure, resilient, cost‑optimised and aligned with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design scalable, highly available multi‑cloud solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP.
Lead cloud migration planning and execution — lift‑and‑shift, re‑platform and re‑architect strategies.
Define cloud governance frameworks: landing zones, security policies, network topology and identity management.
Conduct cloud readiness assessments and produce detailed architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
Collaborate with security teams to embed IAM, encryption and compliance controls.
Drive FinOps initiatives — right‑sizing, reserved instance planning and cost allocation tagging.
Review and approve architecture decisions from engineering teams.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert in customer‑facing engagements and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
Proven track record designing and delivering production cloud environments at enterprise scale.
Deep knowledge of cloud networking: VPCs, peering, Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, DNS.
Strong experience with IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or Azure Bicep.
Proficiency in cloud security: IAM, SCPs, Azure AD/Entra, CSPM tools.
Experience with containerisation (Docker) and Kubernetes‑based platforms.
Associate or Professional‑level cloud certification (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with multi‑tenancy SaaS architectures.
Familiarity with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
Experience with cloud‑native security: GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud, Security Command Center.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000 – $125,000 based on experience.
