The Commercial Procurement Director leads the organization’s procurement strategy, focusing on maximizing value, reducing costs, managing supplier relationships, and supporting commercial objectives. This role ensures procurement aligns with business goals, drives efficiency, and mitigates supply risks.

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Procurement Leadership

Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives

Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive value across the supply chain

Lead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms

Oversee contract development, compliance, and performance

3. Commercial Support

Partner with finance, legal, and operations teams on commercial decisions

Support pricing strategies, bids, and large-scale commercial deals

Ensure procurement contributes to revenue growth and margin improvement

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Promote ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team

Establish KPIs and performance metrics

Foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture

6. Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

Drive procurement process optimization

Implement procurement tools and systems

Use data analytics to inform decision‑making

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)

10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, with leadership responsibility

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Deep understanding of supply chain and commercial operations

Experience with procurement systems Coupa

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong analytical and financial acumen

Compensation $190,000 to $240,000 annually

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications.
