We are looking for an

Outside

Sales Representative

for our growing window and door distribution company. A confident and outgoing individual who is self-disciplined and thrives on a challenge is the perfect candidate. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships with contractors, designers, architects and other professionals in the residential construction/remodeling industry and the light commercial industry.

Job Responsibilities

Develop new client accounts for company through cold calls, working potential customer lists that include architects, trade organizations, contractors, and subcontractors.

Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers

Consultation with customers providing solutions for their projects.

Capture new business through networking, referrals, and face‑to‑face meetings

Continually strive for 100% satisfaction with clients

Prepare estimates for specific projects, provide product recommendations and solutions for the customer.

Responsible for all sales merchandising, technical information, customer product knowledge, and evaluating the area's market needs and business conditions in your territory.

Manage customer account receivables

Attend monthly sales meeting

Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and own reliable vehicle

Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, sales and Customer Service skills are necessary

Professional appearance and demeanor

Superior time‑management and organization skills

Positive, team‑oriented attitude

Previous building material sales experience (not required)

Knowledge of building materials products highly desirable

Ability to operate computer equipment and applicable programs is required
