Position Overview: The
Integrity Specialist
supports RTI’s commitment to high-quality, compliant, and ethical service delivery across all programs. This role strengthens organizational integrity by conducting audits, monitoring risk, supporting corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Working closely with the Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager and program leadership, this position helps identify documentation gaps, system risks, and opportunities for improvement. The Integrity Specialist plays a key role in building a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities: Compliance & Quality Assurance
Conduct internal audits of programs, services, and documentation for regulatory and organizational compliance
Review participant records for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Maintain audit tools, tracking systems, and compliance logs
Support development and follow-up of corrective action plans
Assist in preparing teams for audits, licensing reviews, and revalidation activities
Organizational Integrity & Risk Monitoring
Monitor documentation trends, incident reports, and compliance findings
Identify systemic risks, repeat deficiencies, and integrity concerns
Escalate high‑risk issues to Compliance & QA leadership
Support development of risk mitigation strategies and process improvements
Strengthen internal controls and accountability systems
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare routine compliance and QA reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Track documentation timelines and follow up with staff as needed
Maintain and update internal tracking tools, forms, and templates
Analyze trends to support quality improvement and operational decisions
Incident & Quality Review
Review incident reports for accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
Identify patterns related to safety and documentation gaps
Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Assist with internal investigations and quality reviews
Training & Collaboration
Support staff and leadership with documentation and compliance guidance
Collaborate with program teams to address compliance gaps
Assist in creating training materials, job aids, and communication tools
Participate in organizational quality improvement initiatives
Integrity & Accountability Culture
Promote accurate, timely, and ethical documentation practices
Reinforce accountability expectations across programs
Support leadership in addressing performance or compliance concerns
Contribute to a culture of learning, transparency, and improvement
Required Qualification and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human services, healthcare, public health, or related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in human services, healthcare, administrative support, or compliance
Experience with documentation review, audits, or regulatory compliance
Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Must pass DHS background study and remain eligible under Minnesota DHS requirements
Must pass Federal Office of Inspector General exclusion screening
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
Familiarity with Minnesota DHS regulations (245D, 245I, etc.)
Experience in residential, behavioral health, or mental health services

$58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Walk, stand, sit, bend, climb stairs, and perform crisis prevention/intervention techniques
Use hands for writing, typing, data entry
Lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally exert physical effort during duties
Maintain vision and hearing necessary for reading charts, operating office equipment, using a computer, and driving a vehicle
