ITE Management, a leading investment manager specializing in the transportation sector, is looking for a senior investor relations professional to join its dynamic and rapidly growing Investment team in New York. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $12bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in New York City (HQ), Chicago, St. Louis and London.
This candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, accustomed to working collaboratively in a fast‑paced dynamic team environment. This person will be responsible for deepening our partnership with current investors and engaging with prospects introduced to the firm through established relationships. This individual will report to the Head of Investor Relations and is expected to work in the firm’s NYC headquarters office.
The role requires a commercial approach to oversee the firm’s global limited partner relationships. This includes periodic update calls and meetings, facilitating responses to requests for information relating to their accounts, creating ongoing limited partner due diligence materials and facilitating re‑up capital commitments from current limited partners. It will also include the creation and maintenance of fund materials to support the communication effort.
This role is dynamic and will be both internally and externally facing, requiring an individual who will work well across the firm to collect and synthesize information and disseminate to ITE’s investors in collaboration with other members of the BDIR team.
The candidate will be part of a small team with considerable responsibility and play a key part in both capital retention and growth of the firm, funds, and team, and will have an opportunity to develop broad‑based skills across the BDIR team.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current limited partners
Deliver performance and fund updates in a commercial and timely manner
Work cross‑functionally across ITE teams to prepare necessary content and reporting to disseminate to the current limited partners, including periodic investor letters
Prepare and update materials for internal groups (e.g. finance, debt capital markets, legal/compliance teams)
Work closely with other members of the BDIR team to create new initiatives to deepen limited partner dialogue and raise re‑up capital
Partner with business development colleagues on servicing of new limited partners post investment into an ITE fund
Be able to lead calls/meetings independently
Ability to travel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work closely with others to ensure all inbound requests are covered
Team player with a growth mindset to lead new initiatives for efficiency and growth
Potential to manage others on the investor relations team
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and minimum 8 years’ direct experience in investor relations in client relations and externally facing capacity
Experience working in private investments with closed end or evergreen funds (ITE is a hybrid evergreen structure with a commitment and drawdown structure)
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Extremely detailed oriented and highly organized
Highly responsive and professional with a client-service demeanor
Demonstrated experience in applying investment analysis and producing content
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
Ability to keep others and themselves on task
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to take on what’s needed to support the team
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Ability to work with a CRM (Salesforce)
Salary & Compensation Salary Range:
Estimated base salary range for this position is: $150,000-$225,000. Employee will also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
