
Customer Service Specialist / Appointment Setter

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist with exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset to join our team. You will manage high-volume calls to schedule sales appointments and assist with administrative tasks, including online permit applications and data entry. Prior experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training on our industry, services, and processes.
Schedule:
Central time | Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 5 pm or 10 am – 7 pm CT
Key Responsibilities
Handle high-volume inbound and/or outbound calls to schedule sales appointments
Communicate professionally with potential customers to qualify interest and book appointments
Provide excellent customer service during all interactions
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and record updates
Complete online permit applications and related documentation
Maintain accurate customer and appointment information in internal systems
Follow internal processes for appointment scheduling and documentation
Coordinate schedules between customers and sales representatives
Requirements
Excellent communication skills with a clear and professional phone presence
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
Ability to handle high call volumes efficiently
Strong attention to detail for administrative work and data entry
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfortable using basic computer systems and scheduling tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have
Prior experience in call center, appointment setting, or customer support roles
Experience in sales support or lead qualification
Experience handling high-volume phone environments
Familiarity with CRM systems or scheduling tools
Experience with permit applications or administrative processing
Experience supporting sales teams with appointment coordination
