
Worship Arts Director

Fond du Lac Community Church (www.ccfdl.org) is a healthy and growing church. In the last three years our attendance has grown by at least 50 people each year. God is doing a great work as we seek to develop gospel-centered disciples of Christ, sharing the hope of Christ to transform lives.
The Worship and Creative Arts Director (WAD) will lead the worship and creative arts ministry at Community Church. The WAD is an excellent leader, has a shepherd’s heart, and is responsible for weekly worship as well as overall tech support for the ministries of the church.
Qualifications The WAD needs to be characterized by:
A deep, authentic, growing relationship with God
Humility, faithfulness, actively developing the fruit of the Holy Spirit
A commitment to prayer both in personal walk with Christ and in ministry
A commitment to developing gospel-centered disciples, sharing the hope of Christ to transform lives (our church’s mission)
A passion for planning and leading God-magnifying, gospel-centered, contemporary worship services
The ability to recruit volunteers and build teams
Commitment to congregational participation in worship
Areas of Oversight
Sunday morning and special events that include corporate worship
Audio/Visual/Auditorium stage design
Musicians (vocalists and instrumentalists)
Tech Team (sound mixer, projection, camera, and lighting)
2 Support Staff (Web and Creative Arts Coordinator and Worship Arts Assistant)
Job Duties Sunday Morning Worship
Plan and execute Sunday services with the Senior Pastor
Schedule worship leaders and teams for Sunday morning services
Continually pursue excellence in all aspects of Sunday morning worship services
Musicians
Audition and recruit musicians and tech team members to expand the ministry
Develop musicians through efficient rehearsals and personal mentoring
Seek to train people to lead worship
Tech Team/Auditorium
Recruit and train volunteers to run sound
Recruit and train volunteers to run ProPresenter
Oversee and maintain all sound equipment and instruments owned by the church
Creative Arts
Work with support staff to produce high quality, impactful videos to build up the church
Oversee online presence of the church (social media, website), with the help of support staff
Recruit and oversee creative arts volunteers for stage design and décor.
Reporting Structure The WAD will:
Report to the Senior Pastor
Be part of the Pastor and Director Team
Be an integral part of the staff team
Based on education and experience the annual salary range is $58,000-$65,000
Full Benefits include Health Insurance, Retirement, Dental, Vision (with minimal employee contribution)
