Job Summary The CI Facilitator will drive operational excellence by coaching, facilitating, and ensuring the sustainment of continuous improvement activities within our St. Louis Facility. This individual will collaborate with and train team members at all levels of the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on eliminating waste and creating flow according to Lean principles. Essential Job Duties
Facilitate CI Events / Projects: Facilitate and coach leaders on Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, 2P to improve performance.
Coach and Train: Deliver Lean training to all levels of the organization (such as daily improvement, A3 Thinking, 8 Wastes, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Pull, Cell Improvement Centers, Key Performance Indicators, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) and problem‑solving techniques. Provide Coaching to leaders.
Cultural Leadership: Act as a change agent to build a company-wide culture of engagement and continuous improvement. Develop and facilitate Gemba Walks.
Manage CI Coordinators: Provide day‑to‑day direction, ensure tasks are being completed and coach CI Coordinators.
Coordinate the CI Roadmap: Establish and maintain a master schedule of Lean activities aligned to Strategy to meet annual performance targets.
Qualifications
BS, BA, or equivalent technical education & experience, with emphasis in manufacturing.
Full working knowledge of Lean concepts with 5+ years of demonstrated success in a manufacturing environment.
Led / Facilitated 30+ improvement events; required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge
Lean Methodologies: Mastery of 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Pull, Flow, Changeover Reduction, Value Stream Mapping, 2P, etc.
Process & Problem Analysis: Deep understanding of Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis and Gemba Walk principles.
Skills
Change Management: Strong change management skills and experience. Ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams towards a desired outcome and sustain improvements.
Practical Application of Lean Methodologies: Capable of applying lean principles and concepts in a High Mix environment.
Data Analysis: Proficient in analyzing data and focusing on the Vital Few.
Active Listening: Able to hear beyond words and 'read the room'. Notice more than just what's being said by picking up on the team's tone, body language and unspoken concerns.
Communication and Presentation: Proven ability to communicate with all levels of the organizations.
Time and Project Management: Excellent time and project management skills.
Written and Verbal Communication: Clearly explain complex Lean concepts and lead group discussions through effective verbal and written communication.

Conflict Resolution: The capacity to stay calm during tense debates and pivot the group towards constructive problem solving.
