Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Landscape Designer & Construction Manager
to lead the design, estimating, and execution of residential and commercial landscape projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a creative vision and technical expertise in both landscape design and construction management. Key Responsibilities
Design & Sales:
Develop custom landscape designs using computer-based design software.
Meet with clients to assess needs and present design concepts.
Estimate project costs and prepare sales proposals.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning and execution of landscape construction projects.
Create material lists and ensure timely ordering and delivery of plant materials and supplies.
Review and interpret landscape plans to ensure quality execution.
Crew & Equipment Oversight:
Schedule landscape construction and maintenance tasks for your team.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition; coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
Promote adherence to safety protocols for yourself and your crew during all work activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in landscape design and construction.
Strong knowledge of Zone 4–5 plant materials and hardscaping techniques.
Proficient with computer-based design tools (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, or equivalent).
Proven ability in client-facing sales and proposal development.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
