In this field‑based role you will serve as the brand face, managing a territory, servicing laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment and systems, and selling new solutions that support a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Leverage tools and technology (including tablet and mobile phone apps) to conduct customer visits and recommend unique programs and solutions.

Communicate total value to customers to meet their needs and grow sales within existing accounts.

Use problem‑solving skills to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems.

Provide emergency service to existing customers via phone or in person, as needed.

Assist in the installation of equipment and solutions.

Demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring customers’ operations are fully functional.

Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs.

Position Details This is a field‑based position that may require travel to San Francisco and surrounding areas. During a 12‑week training program you will travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota for 2 weeks. Ecolab will arrange travel and cover associated expenses; you must provide proper travel documentation such as Real ID.

After training you will manage, service, and sell to established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long‑term care facilities, and more within an assigned territory. If a territory is not immediately available, you may be assigned a supporting role until one becomes available.

Weekend Rotation Generally, 1 in 6 weekends are required based on business demand.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2 years of sales, mechanical service, customer service, food service, or hospitality industry‑related experience.

Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency assistance on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.

No immigration sponsorship available.

Physical Requirements Of Position

Lifting 50 lbs.

Pushing/pulling.

Standing, bending, and stooping.

Working in confined spaces.

Distinguishing color (tools may be accommodated).

Availability to work overtime.

Driving a company vehicle as required; pre‑employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or other advanced training or certifications.

Previous mechanical problem‑solving experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical) in industries related to food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa.

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range The total compensation range for this position is $64,600‑$96,800, including base pay and target incentive based on performance. Factors such as experience, education, training, and geography are considered. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
