Position: Golf Maintenance
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the golf course through raking, mowing, trimming and other groundskeeping responsibilities to keep the course operational.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to work as early as 6am on days with outings or high-volume tee times
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Ability to withstand outside summer temperatures
Ability to repeatedly bend/stoop, frequently push/pull, and occasionally squat, reach above shoulder level, kneel and balance
Ability to work independently
Must be able to frequently carry and lift up to 25 lbs
Must be able to be on riding mower equipment for up to eight (8) hours per day
Possess sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established by the company
Must be able to perform tasks in a safe manner and adhere to company policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Mows greens, tees, fairways and rough on the golf course in the allotted time frame
Maintains equipment by keeping it cleaned and gassed up on a daily basis
Moves tee markers as needed and replaces when finished
Changes hole locations
Rakes bunkers
Performs string trimming and other basic mowing duties
Empties grass cutting buckets
Perform any daily projects as assigned by the superintendent
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be 18 or older
Must have a valid driver’s license
