Alliance Group is actively looking for a HIGH-LEVEL Heavy Civil Estimator that knows site work and underground utilities inside and out.
This is NOT an entry-level role. If you don’t have real experience pricing and understanding full site development jobs — this is not for you.
We are a full-service site work contractor handling land development, grading, paving, curbing, and underground utilities. We need someone who can take full ownership of estimates and produce numbers we can actually build off with confidence.
POSITION OVERVIEW You will be responsible for producing ACCURATE, DETAILED, and COMPLETE estimates across full site work packages — including earthwork, utilities, paving, and concrete.
WHAT WE EXPECT - REAL experience estimating heavy civil/site development projects - Strong knowledge of: - Earthwork / grading - Underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) - Paving and curbing - Ability to read and fully understand civil plans, profiles, and specifications - Deep understanding of production rates, crews, and field operations - HIGH attention to detail — no “ballpark” estimators - Ability to manage multiple bids without missing scope
REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE - MUST have experience with HeavyBid (HCSS) and Agtek - Experience with Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus - If you have not used these platforms, this is not the role for you
RESPONSIBILITIES - Complete takeoffs across full site packages - Build detailed cost estimates including labor, equipment, and materials - Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities - Work directly with project managers and field teams - Submit competitive bids we can win AND build
