Job Description
- Responsible for selling software Generative AI solutions & services in GBS - Engineering & Applications Space (Data, AI & Generative AI)
- Experience in all facets of business development from generating leads to closing.
- Responsible for coordinating sales efforts across a cross‑functional team mapping and interacting with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, Engineering Heads, Functional Heads & Directors in the Applications & Engineering space.
- Should have very good understanding of the local market, should bring prior network and rolodex.
- Proven track record in IT services sales with a focus on software solutions and services.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
- Target Achievement: Must meet and/or exceed quarterly sales targets.
- Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasts for business deals to be closed.
- Collaboration: Support other Business Unit Business Development Managers (BDMs) in achieving targets.
- Holistic Business Development: Drive new business initiatives that encompass all service offerings.
- 10+ years of business development experience, with at least 2-3+ years in the GBS.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
