As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing the insurance needs of our community associations and homeowners. You will be responsible for assessing and addressing insurance coverage and risk management needs, processing claims, and maintaining meticulous records. Your role will also involve liaising with clients and insurance carriers to ensure seamless service delivery and positive client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Policy Management (40%) Oversee renewal and issuance of insurance policies, including receiving and processing accord forms, maintaining payment records, and ensuring accurate policy issuance. Investigate and prepare proposals and applications, securing client signatures, and following up for timely processing. Prepare insurance summaries and proposals for account review and approval. Claims Management (15%) Verify, process, assess, and reconcile insurance claims. Design and implement insurance programs in alignment with HOA guidelines. Manage internal risk management and litigation processes, maintain detailed records, and assist with risk assessment. Facilitate the insurance claims process, including paperwork, report drafting, and tracking high‑value claims. Relationship Management (20%) Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurance companies, and clients. Provide administrative support to team members, resolve conflicts, and keep abreast of new policies and claims developments. Ensure positive interactions with clients and insurance carriers, addressing their needs effectively. Administrative Duties (20%) Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure the efficient and timely processing of transactions and responsibilities. Maintain accurate and detailed records, manage deadlines for renewals and claims, and handle competing priorities effectively. Litigation Management (5%) Assist with litigation management, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are followed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required: Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license for Texas. 3‑5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a preference for experience in community association insurance and claims processing. Experience with commercial property policies, specifically E&S policies, is preferred. Skills Strong analytical and mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Experience working in AMS360 and Ezlynx management systems is preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
