Position Overview
EurekaFacts is seeking a mid-level Business Development Executive with a strong background in marketing, sales, and HubSpot to help grow our market presence in the social research and analytics space. The person for this role will be responsible for the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, lead generation, client engagement, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a government contracting (GovCon) environment and/or professional services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both government and commercial sectors, especially in research and analytics.
Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline using HubSpot, marketing automation tools, and database marketing strategies.
Engage past clients and partners while generating new leads through cold outreach, email campaigns, networking, and digital marketing.
Collaborate with research and technical teams to craft tailored solutions in writing compelling proposals.
Conduct market research, monitor procurement platforms, and engage with government contracting officers to assess potential fits for RFPs.
Evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships and lead teaming arrangements to enhance proposal competitiveness.
Lead capture planning efforts and coordinate proposal development from start to submission.
Maintain accurate records and reporting in HubSpot; manage follow-up activities and ensure data hygiene.
Contribute to digital content creation including website updates, social media posts, and email campaigns for lead generation.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in a GovCon or professional services environment.
Proven success using HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Strong understanding of marketing strategies, lead generation techniques, and proposal development.
Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Familiarity with WordPress, social media platforms, and digital marketing best practices.
Prior experience in research, analytics, or healthcare/communications markets is a plus.
