Key Account Manager – On-Premise (San Francisco & East Bay) Company: Freebrook ImportsType: Full-time (W-2) with benefitsTerritory: San Francisco and East Bay About the Role We’re hiring a Key Account Manager to own high-value on-premise accounts across San Francisco and East Bay. This is a full-time role with benefits that runs in our fractional-style model—you’ll manage a tight book of priority accounts, act like an in-house brand rep for a focused craft portfolio, and be measured on depth and pull-through rather than mileage or call quotas. You must live in the territory and already know the bars, restaurants, hotels, and buyers. What You’ll Do Build and manage a focused route of priority on-premise key accounts in SF & East Bay Open new placements and expand existing ones Win menu features, BTG placements, seasonal cocktails, and permanent well/call positions Sell in programming and ensure execution (features, staff picks, promos) Lead staff trainings, tastings, and bartender education Take and transmit orders; track depletions and re-order cadence Maintain weekly pipeline and call notes in HubSpot Coordinate samples, POS, and menu support with marketing and suppliers Protect pricing and stay compliant with California ABC rules What Makes This Different Not a generic “territory rep” role—depth with high-value targets over breadth Full-time with the autonomy and focus of a fractional book; judged on wins and velocity Direct access to ownership—no layers of distributor management Fast visibility for results What You Bring You live in San Francisco or East Bay 3+ years selling to on-premise in this region with real buyer relationships You can name beverage directors, bar managers, GMs, and owners who take your call Proven record turning tastings into lasting menu placements Strong working knowledge of spirits; working knowledge of cocktails is a plus Clean, professional presentation; reliable car, valid CA license; able to lift 40 lbs Organized, self-directed, and comfortable being measured on results Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM) and Google Workspace KPIs New active on-premise accounts opened per month Total menu features and BTG wins Reorder velocity by account/SKU Staff trainings and activation touchpoints completed Accuracy and timeliness of HubSpot pipeline updates Base salary + commission/bonus on paid depletions OTE is up to $120,000 Full-time benefits: health and dental , PTO, holidays, and 401(k) Expected weekly hours: 40+ Territory focus: San Francisco & East Bay How to Apply Email your resume and a short note with your top ten on-premise relationships in SF/East Bay, and two recent cocktail placements wins you personally placed Freebrook Imports is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
