A leading real estate investment firm is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join its Acquisitions team in New York City. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys sales, is comfortable on the phone, and wants to break into commercial real estate. The firm manages $6B+ in assets, acquires $500M+ annually, and owns 5,000+ properties nationwide. It is backed by a larger parent company with $90B+ in assets. The team focuses on acquiring ground leases for existing telecom infrastructure, including cell towers, cell sites, and billboards. What You’ll Do: Make 75–100 outbound calls per day to property owners Build rapport and identify potential sellers Qualify leads by gathering basic property and ownership information Schedule meetings for the Acquisitions team Track calls, follow-ups, and outcomes in a CRM Work closely with the Acquisitions team to support active deals Who This Role Is For: Someone with cold calling, inside sales, or outbound phone experience A self-starter who’s comfortable speaking with people throughout the day Someone interested in commercial real estate and acquisitions, even if new to the industry An early-career professional looking for a clear growth path This role is designed to grow into a Junior Acquisitions Associate position and, over time, a VP of Acquisitions.
