Marketing Rep,Sr/Unit The College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences (CULLS) seeks a skilled, proactive Senior Marketing Rep to lead communications and marketing initiatives for the College. CULLS consists of the University Libraries (including the Center for Southwest Research and the Spanish Colonial Research Center), the Organization, Information & Learning Sciences (OILS) degree program and the UNM Press. This position will primarily provide communication and marketing support for the University Libraries, OILS, and the College as a whole. In this role, you will develop and manage a comprehensive marketing program to enhance the College’s profile and advance its mission in alignment with our strategic planning. You will work closely with our Development Officer, College faculty, staff, administration, and a part-time graphic designer, as well as with the University Communication and Marketing department. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate is flexible, excels at prioritization, and thrives with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment with competing deadlines. Success in this position depends on building relationships and community, and a passion for the College’s mission and values. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic communications plan, serving as the primary media contact for the College, overseeing social media, donor communications, newsletters, speeches, etc., for College news, events, and initiatives. See the Position Description for additional information. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and analytics. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience ensuring print and digital publications meet accessibility standards, or the ability to learn as all digital materials will be required to be accessible via UNM policy. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively both as a team member and team leader. Demonstrated ability to work independently, including prioritization and decision making in a complex environment. Fostering positive relationships with diverse stakeholders and audiences.
