Junior Marketing Analyst

Overview Cypress North is a performance marketing agency working with clients from local businesses to global enterprises. We are hiring an entry-level data analyst to support data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights. This role combines technical skills with analytical thinking to build effective reporting solutions and contribute to client and internal projects. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain web analytics, advertising, and ecommerce tracking systems. Design, build, and update dynamic dashboards. Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover actionable insights. Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing reporting. Clean, integrate, and prepare raw data from multiple sources for analysis. Supportive Responsibilities Assist in creating and managing ETL pipelines. Support the development of data models for visualization and analysis. Software we use Website Analytics: Google Analytics 4 & Microsoft Clarity Coding & Query Languages: SQL, Python, & R Data we work with Advertising: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, & LinkedIn Ads Ecommerce: Shopify & CommerceTools Who we are looking for We are looking for a candidate who is able to absorb new information, follow directions precisely, present new creative solutions, work autonomously, and be self-motivated. Proven track record of professional, personal, or academic success related to data analytics. Candidates who can provide a portfolio of work are preferred. 0-1 years of professional experience. Data analytics, marketing, or other certifications related to this role. Familiarity with the software we use and data we work with. Able to provide detailed insights into complex data sets.
