Reports to: The Key Account Manager reports to the Director of Sales EMEA Purpose of the job To achieve the agreed monthly and annual total Sales Revenue targets for targeted Key Accounts in the DACH region Responsibilities Win and grow large multi-site target key accounts (prospects and existing accounts) Coordinate with regional Ranpak sales force for follow-up of regional sales activities at the key account. Liaise with Ranpak distributors to ensure flawless service and customer satisfaction towards the key account. Work closely with colleagues (e.g., Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Department) to ensure the key account is served with a best-fit and winning proposition. Main tasks Develop, own, and execute the account plan for the target key account Plan and drive actions needed to win, grow, and defend key accounts Develop multi-level contacts within the key account Engage in solution and value-based sales of Ranpak solutions Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key accounts Operate as the lead contact for customer-specific matters Respond to tenders and requests for quotations proactively Requirements Self-starter with high energy and a structured approach to managing key accounts Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Commerce 5-7 years of Pan-European Key Account Management experience, especially in segments like 3PL, E-Commerce, and Manufacturing Industry Experience in the packaging industry is a plus Proven ability in solution- and value-based selling Successful experience managing diversified Decision-Making Units Track record of acquiring new and growing existing key accounts Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all senior levels Experience delivering customer-focused solutions based on needs Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to travel and ability to work remotely Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams serving key accounts Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Cultural awareness and sensitivity Additional Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Packaging and Containers Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
