Forecast The forecast for the future is bright. We have begun expansion into large, complex optical components by pulling together the right team, the right technology, and the right methods to provide the best-value solutions to ground-based and space-based imaging, semiconductor industry, and high energy optics, such as laser fusion and directed energy.

Salary Salary based on experience 70K - 120K

Job Description The Sales Account Manager is responsible for supporting sales goals through effective sales techniques and quality customer service. The position’s key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations/estimates for current and prospective customers.
Rapidly and efficiently addresses customer’s incoming sales calls via email, phone, written inquiries, and facsimile requests.
Provides status to customers on product delivery and quality status.
Understands and responds to customer delivery needs by interfacing with manufacturing.
Understands and supports established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective customer service.
Processes all paperwork for orders to include sales contracts, prints, quote sheets, and related documentation.
Resolves customer concerns in an expeditious and professional manner.
Leads company marketing and business development activities.
Participates in trade shows and conventions.
Works closely with management on special projects and quotes.
Works with shipping and receiving department to assure customers’ needs are met.
Complies with company policies and procedures and safety regulations.

Required Knowledge and Skills Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT
Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships, and network
Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
Delivers tangible results and accepts ownership of work product
Willingness to accept a broad range of dynamic responsibilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently to optimize production efficiency and resolve issues.
Ability to read and interpret documents.

Requirements Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or university with a 4-year degree preferred.
5 or more years of experience in a sales role
5 or more years of experience in the optics market

Export Control and Legal Compliance This position is subject to US export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which require US person status. A “US person” is defined by these regulations as a US citizen, US lawful permanent resident (i.e., “green card holder”), political asylee, or refugee. All employees must also be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required consistent with federal law (Form I-9). Export control assessments are conducted separately to ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR.
