YWCA Marketing and Media VISTA Coordinator

The YWCA is a community-based non-profit organization that provides services to women of all ages in the Caddo/Bossier parishes of northwest La. The mission of the YWCA is eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The programs of the YWCA are LEAD - empowerment programs for teen girls, advocacy and educational support for older women, parenting classes for low-income families, and racial justice programs. The VISTA would assess the current state of marketing and social media efforts of the YWCA and provide updates and improvements, design marketing and promotional materials to educate the public about the YWCA's programs, manage and maintain all social media networks and the YWCA's website, and create a marketing plan for future use for the organization. Also, marketing and design materials would be created for the YWCA's resale shop. Member Duties Coordinate all marketing and communications of the YWCA to increase awareness of the organization and to increase fundraising and referrals for services. Promote the mission and the programs through social media, website, graphic design, print materials, networking and building databases.
