The Media and Partnership team at FanDuel is looking for a Media Manger to help design, track, negotiate and oversee the media planning for the FanDuel Predicts product. The goal of this role is to assist in driving acquisition and ultimately significant revenue growth through the management of the media planning discipline. Media channels under the purview of the role include TV, OTT/Streaming, Audio both terrestrial Radio and Digital Audio, Direct Mail, and OOH/dOOH. The ideal candidate will know how to develop and navigate key relationships with both agency partners and key vendors to guide the media planning process.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

Assist in strategy development, execution and optimization of the paid media programs within the marketing team, including TV, OTT/VOD, Audio, Direct Mail, and OOH/DOOH
Manage day-to-day relationships w/ key external agency partners and media vendors to ensure relationships are strong, channels/business objectives are achieved, and deliverables are consistently and accurately met
Responsible for successful management of program KPIs and on-going validation of performance
Support the budgeting, forecasting and KPI development for respective programs
Deliver weekly and monthly reports inclusive of competitive share of voice, creative rotations and pacing
Create and present insightful and actionable content for various meetings with larger stakeholder groups
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development for respective programs
Work cross-functionally with media channel owners to drive impactful brand marketing as well as ensure investment, CPA, and player value/ROI targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Liaise with internal stakeholders across SBK, DFS, Picks, Predicts, and F2P commercial and operations to ensure alignment on media strategy, identify key acquisition marketing opportunities, and spot trends & criticalities
Drive on-going assessment of FanDuel Group's media proficiencies, identify areas for improvement and prioritize the test and learn roadmap
Act to operationalize MMM throughout the media and partnerships ecosystem
On-going reporting, analysis, evaluation optimization and recommendations for respective channels
Mentor and/or manage junior members of the team to foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
5+ years of experience managing respective channels
2+ years of experience in managing or mentoring people required
A bachelor's degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the client side
Meaningful experience working with performance marketing and media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them
Analytical mind with a strong understanding of underlying data and methodologies used to inform decision making and drive performance management
Strong knowledge of the marketing landscape
Experience negotiating favorable rates and deal structures with advertising partners
Strong understanding of marketing testing and reporting methodology
Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing, and provide clear direction on projects
Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
Advanced Excel skills required
Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred
Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure is preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $111,000 - $139,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
