We are currently looking for an experienced Media Manager to support our Digital Partnerships & Programmatic function. A key part of the role will involve managing the main digital channels and relationships that drive user acquisition for the FanDuel Predicts and Flywheel products, delivering on core business KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in digital media and proven management experience, ideally with in‑house media functions in high‑paced, dynamic environments for industry‑leading brands. We expect a team player who is comfortable working with data and analytics, building a career in media buying, and staying ahead of emerging best practices and market trends.

THE GAME PLAN

Implement strategy, execution, and optimization of programs within the digital partnerships and programmatic function.
Develop and embed a digital strategy across the product portfolio, continually advising on investment recommendations and growth opportunities.
Manage campaigns across various DSPs, focusing on planning, setup, optimization, and reporting across display, video, CTV/OTT, and audio.
Provide continuous assessment of our digital media tactics across programmatic and direct partners, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Daily management and optimization of ad formats, audience targeting, supply optimization (PMP deals), reach & frequency, and related tactics.
Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve performance of respective programs.
Own and build strong relationships with external partners, evaluating media opportunities and optimizing channels to achieve FanDuel’s business and marketing objectives.
Introduce innovative opportunities through existing relationships and new initiatives.
Liaise with cross‑functional teams, creative partners, and agencies to ensure the seamless launch and execution of all campaigns.
Work cross‑functionally with the Marketing organization to build and manage a best‑in‑class media and marketing practice.
Improve internal processes for digital media campaign management, including streamlining creative and tag trafficking, QAing campaigns, and optimizing workflows.
Mentor and/or manage junior team members to foster an environment of intelligent risk‑taking, innovation, and creativity.
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate.
4+ years of experience managing and executing programmatic campaigns.
2+ years of managerial experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at an agency or operator.
Proficiency with DSPs such as DV360, TTD, Yahoo, Amazon Ad Platform, or other comparable DSPs (a plus).
Meaningful experience with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and understanding of their relationships.
Solid knowledge of ad‑serving, tracking systems, ad management platforms & MMPs.
Experience negotiating favorable rates and deal structures with advertising partners.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a high proficiency in MS‑Excel required to make data‑justified business decisions.
Strong knowledge of the marketing landscape.
Strong understanding of marketing testing and reporting methodology.
Ability to communicate succinctly, verbally and in writing, and provide clear direction on projects.
You should be a strong team player who fosters good working relationships.
Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management capabilities, and ability to multitask and prioritize.
Knowledge or understanding of the sports and gaming business culture (preferred).
Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure (preferred).

The applicable salary range for this position is \$111,000 – \$139,000 USD, depending on experience, location, business needs, and market demand. The role may offer medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation; paid personal time off; 14 paid company holidays; and paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws.
