About the Role The Chief Client Office (CCO) proactively engages customers, industry groups, and key stakeholders to create measurable value for S&P Global and improve the customer experience. The Role Person in this role is required to work from the New York office at least 3 days a week. The Team Within the CCO organization, the Client Coverage team accelerates growth through strategic partnership with key accounts. The team drives cross‑functional collaboration and alignment to deliver holistic solutions, drive long‑term engagements, and maximize customer success. Responsibilities and Impact Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. Build executive‑level relationships and work with customers at the most senior levels to identify opportunities and translate them into a commercial strategy. Plan, coordinate, and participate in new business/client prospecting. Monitor and evaluate key customer strategies, business trends, and growth priorities. Provide transparent financial and operational assessment of the health of our customer relationships. Partner and collaborate across various internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure cohesive execution of strategies and initiatives that meet client needs. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals while reducing contractual and commercial friction to improve customer experience. Develop industry‑specific knowledge and drive thought leadership across the CCO and cross‑divisional commercial organizations. Compensation and Benefits For U.S. candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $177,036 to $309,783, with final compensation based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. What We’re Looking For Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is preferred. 15+ years of experience in sales and relationship management, product management, commercial operations, or other customer‑focused roles. Deep knowledge of the financial industry, buyside segment, market trends, and cross‑divisional understanding of the S&P Global portfolio, with a proven track record in managing large accounts or business segments. Experience driving and implementing growth initiatives and leading transformation. Confidence in navigating and building relationships with C‑Level executives. Well‑balanced strategic and operational mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management. Data‑driven mindset with the ability to resolve complex issues and consider best practices to evaluate solutions. Strategic partnership lens and ability to think across the end‑to‑end customer value chain. Person in this role is required to work from the New York office at least 3 days a week.
