The Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will take place October 26 to November 1, 2026 , at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, AR. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of the top 54 PGA TOUR Champions professionals in the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs competing for a purse of $2.3 million dollars. Benefitting various charitable organizations across Arkansas, the Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary
This internship will focus on increasing the tournament's visibility in the community and creating, distributing, and publishing content that reaches and engages our fans through the Simmons Bank Championship's social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, displays excellent verbal and written communication skills, knows what sporting trends are relevant, must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, be keen to detail, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details
Help build our social media and newsletter calendar
Write copy for emails/social media/website and proofread copy for public distribution
Design website wireframes and revise active website pages
Assist with creating/editing Tournament Spectator Guide
Assist with executing all newsletter
Regularly monitor social media posts/comments/replies to understand consumer feedback
Help maintain photo database
Develop graphic content of daily real-time, weekly, and monthly storylines around golf and PGATC
Compile regular metrics reports, including social media, website, and video metrics
Qualified Applicants Must Have
Valid Driver's License
A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines *
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends
Full availability during tournament week October 26 - November 1, 2026
Internships will run from August 24 - November 13, 2026
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period while receiving academic credit *
Applicants should reside near Little Rock or be willing to commute *
