Moore Ruble Yudell is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to support our firm-wide marketing and business development activities from our Santa Monica office. The Senior Marketing Specialist will lead the development of statements of qualifications, request for proposals, digital content and awards submissions, and will help to organize the marketing efforts. The individual will provide support and assistance to the Marketing Principal, Partners, and Firm Leaders in their business development efforts.
Responsibilities
Manage the proposal process from start to finish. Facilitate Go/No go process. Lead kick-off meeting to strategize and identify appropriate consultant and internal teams. Work directly with firm leaders to write and produce compelling proposals that present the most relevant team, experience, and approach for the given pursuit
Coordinate, create, and prepare high quality statements of interest, qualifications packages, interview presentations, awards submissions, and collateral materials
Develop compelling written, graphic, and digital content to support the firm's Communications strategy through social media, the firm website, and digital and print publications.
Monitor vendor portals, client websites, and other sources of RFP advertisements
Research prospective client and project opportunities, market trends and background information associated with business development efforts and market sector initiaitves
Assist those leading business development efforts to prepare for meetings, interviews, and speaking engagements
Organize, track, and update information about the business development activities of the firm, including market sectors, prospects, pursuits, client contacts, and projects.
Attend pre-proposal meetings and local industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-7 years relevant professional experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry. Knowledge of Higher Education, Community College, and Civic market sectors is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Architecture, Design, or related field
Self-starter, ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams
Appreciation of the architectural design profession and the special character of the firm's design values
Excellent communications skills, including writing, editing, and storytelling
A strong graphic design sensibility
Expertise in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of social media applications and digital storytelling
Interest/experience in using AI to streamline proposal research, writing, and production
Strong organizational and management skills; attention to detail
Energetic and enthusiastic collaborator; highly committed
Sense of humor and grace under pressure
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000/year depending on the individual's experience and qualifications.
Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical and Dental Insurance, Professional Development reimbursement, and 401k Plan.
Hybrid Work Schedule: We offer a hybrid work schedule as follows. Three days in-person in our Santa Monica office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Two days (Monday and Friday) optional to work remote or in-person.
