Job Description Grant Thornton is seeking an Advisory Marketing Senior Associate to join the team. The role supports the execution of marketing programs that promote the firm’s Advisory practice and help drive awareness, client engagement, and pipeline growth. Working closely with the Advisory Marketing Manager, Advisory Marketing Leader, and broader marketing team, this position assists in implementing campaigns, coordinating marketing assets, and supporting go-to‑market initiatives aligned to priority Advisory offerings and sectors. The role focuses on day‑to‑day execution and coordination of integrated marketing activities across marketing channels including digital, content, events, and thought leadership. It is ideal for a detail‑oriented marketer with experience in professional services or B2B environments who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced organization and can manage multiple projects while supporting larger marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of go‑to‑market campaigns aligned to priority Advisory offerings under the guidance of the Advisory Marketing Manager Assist in coordinating integrated marketing activities across various marketing channels such as digital, content, events, and thought leadership Support alliance marketing efforts with partners such as Microsoft, Oracle, and other strategic alliances by coordinating marketing materials, campaigns, and joint activities Assist with marketing integration activities related to acquisitions, including updating marketing assets, coordinating messaging alignment, and supporting campaign integration Help develop and prepare Advisory marketing content including insights, case studies, campaign collateral, and digital assets Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, business leaders, and marketing teams to gather input and support campaign deliverables Work with Audit, Tax, and firm‑wide marketing teams to support consistent messaging and aligned marketing activities across the firm Assist with tracking and compiling campaign performance metrics such as engagement, lead generation, and pipeline contribution Maintain campaign calendars, support project timelines, and help ensure marketing initiatives remain on track Support ongoing improvements to marketing processes, campaign execution, and team collaboration Other duties as assigned Technical Skills And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA preferred 3‑5 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in B2B professional services, preferably in consulting or advisory environments Understanding of various marketing channels and their relevance to achieving strategic business goals Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling content and presentations Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail Highly collaborative and able to work within and through teams to achieve stated goals Innovative and creative approach to developing work products and solving complex problems Commitment to actively learning and adopting best practices from across the team Ability to thrive in a high‑growth, matrixed organization with shifting priorities Advanced skills with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools Can travel as needed The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Cleveland, OH, Minneapolis, MN, and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $76,000 and $114,000 per year. The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Washington, DC, Boston, MA, Edison, NJ, and New York, NY, and Melville, NY offices only is between $82,080 and $123,120 per year.
