Junior Product Designer

Junior Product Designer – Surface Collections (Tile, Stone, Wood & Vinyl) We are hiring a Junior Product Designer to support the development and curation of our tile, stone, wood, and vinyl collections. This role is focused on product design, trend research, and visual storytelling, working closely with our product development and purchasing teams. This is a hands‑on, onsite position for someone early in their design career who has a strong design eye, enjoys working with materials, and wants to grow into a long‑term product‑focused role. While there is limited showroom involvement, this is not a full‑time customer‑facing position. Responsibilities Support the curation and development of new tile, stone, wood, and vinyl collections Research design trends across social media, trade shows, and the competitive landscape Create mood boards, palettes, and design narratives for new products Assist with SketchUp layouts and visuals for product reviews and merchandising planning Help identify assortment gaps and opportunities for differentiation Collaborate with product development, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams Organize and maintain digital design assets and files Qualifications Strong design eye with an understanding of color, texture, scale, and proportion Proficiency in SketchUp or similar design software Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to work onsite in a design studio environment 0–3 years of experience in interior design, product design, or a related field preferred Familiarity with tile, stone, wood, vinyl, or building materials is a plus Strong command of color theory and application, with the ability to design, coordinate, and contrast palettes across multiple surface materials to create cohesive, compelling results Compensation $26 - $32 hourly About Bedrosians Tile & Stone Bedrosians Tile & Stone is a leading provider of tile, stone, wood, and vinyl surfaces with showrooms across the country.
