Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist

Key Activities The top priority of the role is to design, create, and deliver marketing campaigns to support the expansion and growth of TCEA and the success of its members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following: Assist in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing strategy that will enhance TCEA’s image and position within the K-16 education world and with the general public and policy makers Develop targeted campaigns to support and promote TCEA events, membership, and other marketing initiatives. Write and edit content for web, print, and general communications (emails, flyers, video scripts, and other marketing efforts). Measure, analyze, and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals Maintain and further develop the association’s website, website content, and social media presence Demonstrate experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email automation, social media, and advertising campaigns Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, traffic, conversion rates, etc.) to help shape future marketing initiatives Manage social media strategy and postings (X, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) Conduct market research to better understand our audience Brainstorm new and creative revenue and membership growth strategies through digital marketing Prepare and send out e-newsletters, email marketing, and other electronic-based communications Work closely with other departments to coordinate brand engagement and marketing efforts Ensure that all policies and procedures relating to marketing adhere to brand guidelines Education/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing required A clear and compelling writer, able to tell a good story and address complex topics with crisp prose. Minimum of three years of digital marketing experience required; association or education experience preferred Demonstrated technical ability in website and social media development and maintenance Strong knowledge of marketing elements, including SEO and Google AdWords, email automation, social media, and display advertising campaigns, to foster engagement and recognition Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels Demonstrated ability in graphic design recommended Working knowledge of web publishing, HTML, and CSS Knowledge of MailChimp, WordPress, and Rasa desired #J-18808-Ljbffr
