OneStream Business Development Representative (BDR)
The BDR is an entry-level position within our Finance and Operations Practice, focused on generating net-new pipeline to support our OneStream Account Executives. This role plays a critical part in filling the top of the sales funnel by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective clients within the Office of the CFO.
The BDR will engage with prospects through digital campaigns, outbound outreach, webinar follow-up, and alliance-driven initiatives. This individual will work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, Data Solutions, and OneStream channel partners to drive awareness and create qualified sales opportunities.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who is eager to learn enterprise finance technology, develop consultative sales skills, and build a foundation for a long‑term career in finance transformation and enterprise software sales.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
Generate qualified leads for OneStream Account Executives, with a target of 25 qualified leads per quarter
Follow up on digital marketing campaigns through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach to gauge interest and schedule discovery meetings
Proactively conduct outbound prospecting to finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, FP&A Directors) within target accounts
Use digital marketing and sales enablement tools such as Pardot, 6sense, CRM systems, and sequencing tools to identify buying signals and prioritize outreach
Support go‑to‑market (GTM) initiatives including campaign coordination, targeted outreach programs, and alliance‑driven marketing efforts
Drive attendance for webinars, executive roundtables, and field marketing events, and conduct structured follow‑up with attendees to convert interest into meetings
Develop working knowledge of OneStream products and capabilities, including financial close, consolidations, account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and AI‑enabled finance solutions
Become conversant in modern finance transformation trends, including AI‑enabled forecasting, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and data‑driven decision support
Develop relationships with OneStream Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and alliance partners to support coordinated pipeline generation
Maintain accurate CRM records, track outreach activity, and measure performance against KPIs
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness
Continuously improve prospecting strategies through feedback, data analysis, and coaching
Performance Expectations:
Target of 25 qualified leads per quarter
Consistent outbound activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, campaign follow‑ups)
Measurable contribution to pipeline growth within the Finance and Operations Practice
Participation in campaign and event execution with clear ROI tracking

Qualifications:
0–2 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, finance, business development, or technology‑related roles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field preferred
Strong interest in enterprise software, Corporate Performance Management (CPM), or finance transformation
Highly motivated, self‑starter mentality with a strong work ethic and competitive drive
Ability to quickly learn new concepts, including financial close processes and enterprise technology solutions
Organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing activity targets and KPIs
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence and professionalism
Confident, personable, and comfortable engaging with senior finance leaders
Comfortable working with digital marketing tools and CRM systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Compensation:
Competitive base salary
Variable compensation tied to KPI attainment (qualified leads generated)
Additional incentive for leads that convert to closed‑won opportunities

Salary Range
$67,000 - $85,000 USD
