
Marketing Street Team Event Staff - Chicagoland Speedway

CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY
Chicagoland Speedway is a 1.5-mile oval located in Joliet, Ill., approximately 30 miles south of downtown Chicago on Old Historic Route 66. On July 3-5, 2026, NASCAR will make its much-anticipated return to Chicagoland Speedway for three days of racing action.
Overview The Marketing Seasonal Representative will work alongside the Sr. Director, Marketing and Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute all grass roots programming including all local event activations for Chicagoland Speedway.
Duties In conjunction with Marketing team, manage the logistics and operations of all event functions including layout, collateral, prize management, prospecting, data management and impact.
Assist with management and maintenance of show car, pace car, simulator & trophy program with the marketing team, planning the appearance schedule, coordinating event logistics, developing a prospect conversion plan, maintaining relationships with event contacts and delivering a positive experience for fans and partners
Assist with planning as needed including booking entertainment, securing décor, handling contracts & COIs, coordinating schedules and managing any other needs for various entertainment.
Maintains inventory logs of prizes, collateral and support items needed.
Work with the Marketing teams to review and & manage consumer-facing event signage in coordination with the partnership and operations teams.
Support the Marketing and Event Experience teams in the planning and execution of all race weekend programming including first time fan programs, engagement programs or other duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age
Sports marketing or event management experience a significant plus
Self-starter who takes initiative and can take a project from start to finish
Strong ability to think strategically, creatively and quickly
Detail-oriented and organized with outstanding communication skills
Ability to work through on-site event logistics and think operationally is a must
True team player and collaborator
Ability to coordinate and deliver multiple projects at once within strict deadlines
Must be able to work extended hours and event weekends
Valid driver’s license
Desire and ability to create and champion a vision
Strong collaboration skills are critical
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Reliable transportation to and from the track location
The compensation range for this position is:
$15 to $18 per hour
