Position Overview The Content Marketing intern will support a fast‑paced, mission‑driven healthcare organization in telling clear, compelling stories across our core communication channels: website, public relations, social media, and internal communications. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about writing, digital strategy, and helping diverse audiences understand and connect with the resources they need to live healthier lives.
The intern will gain hands‑on experience collaborating with marketing, PR, brand, and creative teams—while contributing
Duties & Responsibilities Website (Digital Experience)
Assist with updating website copy, images, and page content
Proofread and edit new pages or articles for clarity, accuracy, and accessibility
Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure information is current and compliant with brand standards
Social Media (External Engagement)
Draft social posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X
Help source content: photos, member stories, community events, or health‑related topics
Monitor platform engagement and flag trends, questions, or opportunities
Public Relations (Media & Reputation Support)
Support drafting press materials such as media alerts and press releases
Research reporters, media outlets, and healthcare news trends
Track and organize media coverage, helping prepare weekly or monthly PR reports
Internal Communications (Employee Engagement)
Contribute to internal newsletters, employee spotlights, and organizational announcements
Help gather stories from departments across the company
Assist in preparing content for town halls, intranet updates, and leadership communications
Content Coordination & Reporting
Maintain the editorial/content calendar across channels
Assist in tracking performance metrics (web analytics, social media engagement, email open rates)
Organize project files, creative assets, and content drafts across teams
Cross‑Team Collaboration
Participate in planning meetings with digital, brand, and creative teams
Support brainstorming sessions for campaigns, events, and storytelling initiatives
Assist with special projects tied to brand campaigns or major organizational moments
Work Shifts
9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Interest in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or digital media
Familiarity with major social media platforms
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Ability to conduct research and summarize key findings
Creativity and openness to contributing ideas
Professionalism, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
(Bonus) Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, photography, or video
