
Program Manager, Events and Marketing

Become a Key Player as a Program Manager, Events and Marketing
You will plan and execute high-impact events and marketing initiatives that increase program value and stakeholder engagement. You’ll work closely with internal teams, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to deliver both in-person and virtual programs. This is a hybrid role with regular in-person event responsibilities across Seattle and virtual collaboration for meetings and marketing work.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor coordination, on-site setup, and takedown
Manage event budgets, track costs, and perform basic financial analysis for events and programs
Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote events, programs, and organizational priorities
Create or coordinate creation of graphics, multimedia content, and sponsor/promotional materials
Manage social media accounts, website content, and apply SEO best practices for site visibility
Coordinate sponsor relationships and ensure fulfillment of sponsor benefits and deliverables
Support program operations, committee engagement, and outreach efforts to maximize participation and impact
Maintain organized records, databases, and assist with CEO calendar and office/vendor coordination
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or related roles
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage timelines and delegate tasks
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in social media management and content creation
Ability to work evenings and weekends for events and to travel regionally/locally as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and reliable transportation for event supplies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with common event and marketing tools
Here’s What Else Might Help You Out
Experience with fundraising, donor relations, or sponsorship cultivation
Familiarity with SharePoint, Squarespace, Monday.com, Eventbrite, Canva, Vimeo, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, and Zoom
Pay Range
$40.00 - $43.75/hour
