The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast paced, full service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off‑Broadway shows, and restaurants. We are seeking a part‑time Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is excited to bring shows to life across social media – a creator who can take a clear brief and elevate it, delivering intentional, well‑crafted content for planned campaigns while staying ready to capture the in‑the‑moment energy of live theatre. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Concepting, filming, and editing short‑form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) based on briefs provided by Content Director Concepting and designing static and animated social media assets based on briefs provided by Content Director Capturing and editing in‑the‑moment content at theatres, rehearsals, and events Writing captions and copy that reflect each show’s unique voice Monitoring social media trends and quickly adapting them for show content QUALIFICATIONS: Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms Ability to work quickly (same day or real‑time turnaround when needed) Strong social media writing voice with adaptability across brands Passion for the theatre industry Must be NYC‑based (for work in‑person at the office and onsite work at theatres and special events) SCHEDULE: 20–25 hours per week* *Flexibility for evenings and weekends when needed Please include PART‑TIME CONTENT CREATOR in the subject line.
