Role Summary The Sales & Marketing Manager owns revenue growth, pipeline quality, and brand-led demand generation for a luxury interior design firm serving high net worth homeowners. This role exists to fully elevate our Visionary out of the day-to-day sales and marketing, build a scalable revenue engine, and protect the luxury client experience while driving $7-10M in annual collected revenue. This role is not for someone who wants to run marketing or manage sales. This is a strategic leader, disciplined operator, and trusted closer, who values stewarding long-term relationships. What Success Looks Like $7-10M in booked and collected revenue 50-60 high-quality projects annually (80% new build, full-service) 5x pipeline coverage aligned with design capacity Visionary fully elevated from sales and marketing execution A trained, accountable, high-performing sales and marketing team Consistent lead quality aligned with a $150k minimum project threshold Clear, repeatable sales and marketing systems documented and followed Key Responsibilities Revenue Ownership and Sales Leadership Own revenue targets and pipeline health Personally participate in discovery, pricing, and closing as needed, especially for top-tier clients Oversee qualification standards, to ensure alignment with budget minimums, scope fit, timeline readiness, and decision authority Partner with our Visionary on pricing strategy and final approvals Ensure revenue is booked and collected, not just signed Sales Process and Systems Design, implement, and enforce a clear sales process inside Houzz Pro Define pipeline stages, qualification criteria, and close standards Establish weekly sales metrics reviewed in leadership meetings Improve follow up discipline and eliminate dropped opportunities Build forecasting accuracy aligned to capacity and delivery Marketing Strategy and Demand Generation Own marketing strategy with accountability for signed contracts, not vanity metrics Manage all marketing channels, including, social media, website and lead forms, awards & PR, print & partnerships, shopify product sales, trade program, and product development Improve and enforce brand standards aligned with luxury clientele and our core values Optimize spend within monthly budget Brand Stewardship and Luxury Positioning Protect and elevate our brand positioning Ensure all messaging reinforces our brand identity Eliminate misaligned leads, ego-driven marketing, and margin erosion Represent the brand with polish, discretion, and confidence Team Leadership and Accountability Lead and develop a team of four (and growing) Hire, coach, performance-manage, and replace as needed Address skill gaps, set weekly priorities, KPIs, and expectations, and foster a culture of gratitude, ownership, and excellence Partnerships and Relationship Growth Personally steward high value relationships with builders, architects, realtors, and trade partners Represent the firm at selected industry and philanthropic events and organizations Prioritize relationships that produce aligned, high value work and cultivate a formal referral strategy Qualifications Required 7+ years in high value sales, marketing, or growth leadership Experience in luxury design, custom homes, real estate, or adjacent luxury services Proven success managing teams and revenue targets Strong understanding of consultative, long cycle sales Expert in CRM software, Scorecard management, and KPI dashboards Hands‑on leadership with humility and accountability with direct communication and deep respect for clients, designers and teammates Preferred Comfortable operating in boutique environments with professional standards A leader who owns revenue, builds systems, protects our brand, develops people, and earns trust How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume & cover letter to applications@semmelmanninteriors.com and complete a Culture Index Survey https://go.cultureindex.com/p/spBmTtzCsww Semmelmann Interiors is a faith-based company with a unique business model and our own exclusive product line.
