
Business Development Associate

One of our Broadstreet Core Partners is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role is central to our acquisition strategy, responsible for identifying and qualifying potential insurance agency partners for investment. You'll work directly with senior leadership to build and manage our prospect pipeline, helping us connect with agency owners who may be fit for partnership.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys the hunt of finding new opportunities, and wants meaningful exposure to the M&A process. The right candidate will help us formalize our outreach beyond referral-based leads, proactively identifying and engaging agency owners we don't yet know.
What You’ll Do
Research, identify, and directly contact prospective insurance agency partners, with a focus on agencies in the $2M–$5M+ revenue range
Develop and execute outreach strategies using phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and direct mail
Build and maintain a consistent, repeatable prospecting process to drive our pipeline of acquisition targets
Track prospect engagement, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics
Relationship Building
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective acquisitions, representing our culture and value proposition
Develop and nurture relationships with agency principals over time, understanding their goals and concerns
Partner with leadership to refine messaging and tell our story in a way that resonates with entrepreneurial agency owners
Work closely with business leadership to align prospecting efforts with broader acquisition strategy
Contribute to marketing campaigns and materials that increase awareness and attract new partners
