Business Development Associate – Agency Partnerships
Position Description
ICON International is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development – Agency Partnership Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships that drive business growth. You will be responsible for researching potential partners, developing compelling presentations, managing email lists and outbound tracking, and conducting prospecting efforts.
Responsibilities
Partner Research & Identification:
Conduct thorough research on potential partners, including their business models, target audience, and competitive landscape.
Partnership Development:
Develop compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners.
Help support the management of ongoing relationships with existing partners.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Build and maintain targeted email lists for outreach campaigns; conduct outbound prospecting activities, including email campaigns and video/phone calls; track and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.
Business Development Support:
Assist the team with other business development initiatives as needed, such as event planning and market research.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all partnership activities and interactions in CRM; generate regular reports on partnership performance and progress.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in business development, sales, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of business development principles and best practices preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo) preferred.
Knowledge of ChatGPT or other AI‑powered tools is a plus.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive and results‑driven approach – a self‑starter with a strong work ethic.
Passion for building relationships and achieving business goals.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
