We are seeking a Marketing & Creative Intern to support our Marketing & Communications team during a 12‑week summer internship. This in‑office role offers hands‑on experience supporting creative marketing initiatives, proposal development, and internal communications within a leading electrical contractor serving the St. Louis region and beyond.
The intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to support both creative marketing efforts and proposal‑related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the creation and scheduling of professional social media graphics and content calendars (primarily LinkedIn)
Support photo and video capture at job sites, company events, and internal initiatives
Assist with basic video editing for corporate and professional marketing use
Provide graphic design support for marketing materials, proposals, internal communications, and events
Assist with bid proposals, including formatting, visual layout, graphics, and content support
Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to gather project information, photos, and content for marketing and proposal efforts
Support event planning and logistics, including coordination, setup, and follow‑up
Organize and maintain marketing and proposal assets, including photos, videos, resumes, and project sheets
Provide general marketing and communications support as needed
Qualifications Currently enrolled college student: senior standing strongly preferred
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong interest in marketing, visual communications, and the construction or skilled trades industry
Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
Basic photography and video skills (professional or mobile equipment)
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional, fast‑paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Position Details Summer internship position beginning mid‑May 2026 through early August 2026; 12 weeks, 40 hours per week.
Location: Interns will report to our St. Louis office for the duration of the internship
Competitive hourly compensation offered.
