BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE — INTERN About the Role We are looking for a driven, coachable intern to join our Business Development team in Walnut Creek. This is a hands‑on, paid role — not coffee runs. You will be trained on AI‑native prospecting tools, learn a proven outreach methodology, and earn commission for every qualified appointment you book. No prior sales experience required. What You’ll Do Use AI‑native tools (Clay, Apollo, ChatGPT) to research prospects and personalize outreach at scale Make confident outbound calls — phone is a core part of this role Qualify leads and book discovery meetings for senior account executives Maintain pipeline records in our CRM and participate in weekly AI tool workshops What You’ll Learn AI‑powered prospecting: automating research and personalizing outreach with modern tools Cold calling and objection handling frameworks used by top‑performing BDR teams Full B2B sales motion — from first touch to booked meeting CRM hygiene and pipeline management fundamentals Compensation & Schedule Schedule: 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, Walnut Creek office. Flexible start times available.
