Account Executive, SMB Sales - Rhode Island Career Area: Business Sales | Location: 10 Dorrance Street Providence RI 02903 Job Description We’re seeking a results‑driven Account Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new clients and managing relationships with existing B2B clients. This hybrid role involves working remotely with occasional travel for client meetings and events. You’ll be responsible for managing your sales pipeline, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring excellent client service. Roles and Responsibilities Identify and prospect new B2B clients to drive business growth. Manage and prioritize a sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets. Present product/service solutions to clients and close deals effectively. Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend solutions. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure successful agreements. Track and report on sales performance and progress toward goals. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. Education High School Diploma/GED (Required) Work Experience Minimum 1 year of verified experience in new customer acquisition sales, preferably in a commission-based role. (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Task Management: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while effectively managing multiple tasks. (Required) Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service with strong attention to detail.
