Just Add Creative (JAC), a Lake Worth Beach–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Intern to help grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn while telling the story of our creative community. JAC distributes free craft kits to underserved communities and highlights local artists through interviews, events, and creative partnerships. In this role, you’ll help share those stories and bring our mission to life online. This position is ideal for a student, emerging creative, or early‑career marketer interested in nonprofit storytelling, social media strategy, and community arts. This role may qualify for volunteer hours or internship credit, depending on your academic program. Location Remote, but applicants must be local to South Florida and available to attend occasional community events in the Lake Worth Beach area. What You’ll Do Help brainstorm creative content ideas with our team Post about twice per month on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Write engaging captions and create visuals using Canva or similar tools Share event announcements, artist highlights, and behind‑the‑scenes moments Attend occasional events to capture photos or short videos What You’ll Gain Real‑world nonprofit marketing experience Portfolio‑ready social media work Connections with local artists and community leaders Insight into community arts programming and events Time Commitment 4–6 hours per month with flexible scheduling. Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional event attendance .
