Jobdescription Please be advised we have the following opening at this time: KCAU 9 (Sioux City) is seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated Integrated Marketing Specialist who can connect with clients and help them achieve their business objectives through effective TV and digital advertising. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, along with a drive to succeed. Most importantly, we are looking for hardworking salespeople who want to have FUN at work, make money, and help local businesses grow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
Establishes credible relationships with local business community.
Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
Explains to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
Provides clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media.
Works with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The Iowa Broadcasters Association represents the interests of its television and radio station members in the Iowa State Legislature, the United States congress, at the FCC and with various other legislative/regulatory bodies and the public.   Since 1951, the IBA has worked to advocate and advance the mission of service that’s the cornerstone of broadcasting.

 

In addition to its lobbying efforts, the IBA offers a variety of services to help recognize and support Iowa’s broadcasters.  Sales training, FCC and legal guidance, the Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP), and the maintenance of the Iowa Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame and Iowa Broadcaster of the Year honors.
