Your primary role is to introduce new customers to MarketerHire and connect them with the best marketing resources to achieve their goals, while nurturing and growing a roster of accounts you sign. All communication and resumes must be submitted in English. This is a remote position. Responsibilities Research assigned leads and clients to understand their needs and identify marketing opportunities Conduct consultation calls with assigned new leads to determine fit for MarketerHire Establish strong relationships with prospective customers and manage the customer experience from lead-in to contract signed and beyond Check in with current and past clients to assess satisfaction and opportunities to place additional marketing resources Manage disputes with clients and collaborate with the marketer and MarketerHire Talent team to find resolutions Remain knowledgeable about marketing industry trends, market activities, and competitors Keep deals up to date in HubSpot, logging and tracking all correspondence via email, phone, and text Track performance against team and individual goals and collaborate with the Team Lead to improve performance Be highly responsive to internal and external communications Requirements 1-3+ years of experience in a marketing role or as an Account Manager at a marketing agency; experience managing new business and account expansion is a plus Excellent customer service skills and an exceptional communicator (written and verbal) who builds trust quickly Strong organization and diligence to stay in regular contact with clients and leads, with prompt follow-up and ability to context-switch between clients Highly motivated with a drive for personal and professional improvement Deep knowledge of MarketerHire’s value proposition and ability to connect it to client needs Positive, confident, and determined demeanor; thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment Willing to help teammates, share knowledge, and learn from others In the first week you will Onboard and integrate into MarketerHire Learn MarketerHire’s model, team members, and story Begin the sales training process covering value proposition, sales process, and delivery method Meet cross-functional teams you will work with to close new business In the first month you will Complete our sales training program Begin receiving leads, call them to assess needs, address objections, and convey the value proposition, closing suitable leads Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move prospects through the funnel Start closing new business In the first three months you will Be fully ramped up and integrated into the team Complete additional vertical-specific training Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects Establish a proven track record of closing new business In the first six months you will Have a solid track record of closing new business and meeting/exceeding sales goals Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness for the team In the first year you will Mentor new team members and share best practices Continue to close new business and manage your funnel to meet/exceed targets Become a consistent contributor on the team Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: MarketerHire is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
