Meet the Team
Dexcom is seeking a highly skilled Lead Comms Specialist, Enterprise Communications with deep expertise in internal communications for manufacturing, supply chain, and global operations teams. This role is ideal for a communicator who understands the unique challenges of reaching frontline manufacturing employees—across multiple sites, shifts, languages, and regions—and can design communication strategies that meet people where they are.
Where You Come In
You will develop and lead enterprise-wide internal communication strategies with a specific focus on manufacturing, supply chain, and global operations teams.
You create scalable, multisite communication plans that effectively reach shift-based and non‑desk employees, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
You partner directly with business partners and senior leaders—including Operations, HR, and Executive Leadership—to craft compelling, clear, and confident messaging for business updates, change initiatives, cultural moments, and strategic priorities.
You prepare executives for site visits, town halls, and manufacturing‑focused engagement moments with talking points, scripts, and communication coaching.
You design communications tailored for production environments, using channels such as digital signage, mobile‑friendly content, manager cascade tools, line‑side briefings, and facility‑based engagement programs.
You build communication frameworks that support safety, quality, productivity, and operational culture.
You own and manage a portfolio of communication channels including the intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage communities, manager toolkits, and site‑based platforms.
You produce a wide range of high‑quality content: executive messages, operations updates, video scripts, presentations, articles, and storytelling pieces that highlight operational excellence and employee impact.
You track communication effectiveness using data and site‑level feedback, analyzing trends to enhance reach and impact—especially for non‑desk audiences.
You stay informed on best practices for frontline communications, operations storytelling, and global engagement strategies.
What Makes You Successful
You have progressive experience in internal communications, preferably within industries with large manufacturing or operational workforces.
You have proven success creating communication strategies for frontline, non‑desk, and shift‑based teams.
You have significant experience developing communications for global operations, including multisite and multiregional environments.
You bring strong executive presence with the ability to influence, advise, and present to senior leaders.
You demonstrate experience supporting executives with messaging, tone, and strategic communication counsel.
You have expertise with internal communication platforms such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, and digital signage.
You possess outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and channels.
You show ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving needs.

Experience and Education Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8‑12 years of related experience.
At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
Flex Workplace
Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
Salary: $105,800.00 – $176,300.00
