Communications Specialist - Part-time

Overview The Parish of St. Mary in Colts Neck is seeking a Part-time Communications Specialist to join our professional, supportive, and collaborative parish staff. Our mission is to respond creatively and faithfully to the call of discipleship in today’s world, and effective communication plays a vital role in that mission. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented, and creative communicator with strong writing and editing skills. This individual will design, coordinate, and implement communication initiatives that support and promote the mission, ministries, and activities of St. Mary Parish. The role includes both digital and print communication as well as general office support. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and produce the weekly parish bulletin Coordinate electronic and traditional mailings Maintain and update the parish website Create posters, flyers, ads, and other promotional materials Provide secretarial and administrative support Assist with front office reception and general parishioner needs Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Constant Contact, and social media platforms Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Creativity and attention to detail Past parish or church communications experience is preferred but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Compensation is commensurate with experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
