Sr. UX/UI Designer – Football Systems

Direct Supervisor: Sr. Director, Football Systems Status: Full-time Summary We are looking for a Sr. UX/UI Designer with technical expertise to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and application platforms. This role blends user research, interaction design, and visual design to deliver products that are both functional and visually engaging. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet customer needs and are designed with a focus on usability, accessibility, and delight. You will collaborate closely with Full Stack developers and stakeholders to translate business needs into thoughtful, usable solutions. Location This is a full-time position based on-site at the Miami Dolphins Training Facility (Miami Gardens) Responsibilities Work closely with stakeholders to craft a long-term vision, establish priorities, and develop a phased approach to deliver near-term value without sacrificing long-term goals Own the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and concept to delivery and iteration Design user-centered experiences for web and application products from concept to launch Develop user-centered testing standards and best practices for Agile design and development Maintain and contribute to design systems and UI standards Ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented by development teams Understand users’ needs and requirements. Work with stakeholders, and balance leads to translating them into value-adding product features Work closely with product management, engineering, user experience, and other teams to ensure product quality and timelines are met or exceeded where possible Attend NFL / Technology conferences as necessary. Work to ensure the Miami Dolphins are at the forefront of innovation and sports technology Apply typography, color, spacing, and layout principles to create a clear visual hierarchy Document design guidelines and usage standards Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience 8+ years of experience in product design or related fields Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience conducting user research and usability testing Experience designing enterprise or data-heavy applications Experience designing data visualizations, dashboards, and charts for analytics applications Experience with design systems and component libraries Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks (a plus, not required) Familiarity with data visualization libraries (a plus, not required) Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance (including voluntary coverage for spouses and children) Long-term disability insurance 401k, Paid time off (PTO), and company holidays The Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and South Florida Motorsports are proud to be Drug-Free Workplaces.
